Gop Rep. Ashley Hinson Announces Senate Bid For Open Iowa Seat

Rep. Ashley Hinson, R-Iowa, announced Tuesday that she will tally for nan Senate spot being vacated by Republican Sen. Joni Ernst, who is not seeking re-election.

"I’m each in. I’m moving for nan United States Senate to conflict alongside President Trump and present connected nan America First agenda," Hinson said connected X.

"From securing our separator and deporting forbidden aliens, to keeping men retired of girl’s sports and cutting taxes for moving families, I will conflict each time for Iowans and our blimpish values," she added.

Ernst said earlier Tuesday that she will not activity a 3rd term, citing a request to “give back” to her family successful a video connected X.
